The UMI traction bar pivots for 1970–1981 GM F-Body are required when using the 3/4" relocation position on UMI 2624 brackets or other Herb Adams mod–style brackets. They provide the correct pivot interface for that relocation and are intended to maintain proper traction bar geometry when the front mount is altered.
