The UMI rear lift bars for 1999–2004 Ford Mustang replace stock control arms to use axle torque to load the chassis, improving launches, 60-foot times and reducing wheel hop while retaining ride height; they will not fit 1999–2004 Cobra models. Built from boxed mild steel tubing with greasable aluminum bushings and steel sleeves, installation is bolt- or weld-in in about two hours and includes all hardware. Note: recommended for drag and race use; expect increased road noise.
