UMI Performance's tunnel-mounted torque arm for 1982–1992 GM F-Body cars is built for TH400 short-tail transmissions and provides a bolt-in crossmember with an adjustable torque arm. The kit moves the front mount off the transmission tailshaft to prevent damage, uses CNC machined plates, greaseable pivot points and polyurethane bushings to reduce noise and wheel hop, and is intended for straightforward installation with basic tools.
