The RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is a forged rod end for fabricators and suspension builders, providing cushioning and broader articulation than a standard heim joint. The urethane-encased inner ball allows about 30° of movement while the heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication. This 2.5 in joint has a zerk fitting, 1.25 in-12 left-hand threads with 2.25 in of thread, a 2.812 in mounting width ball with a .750 in thru-bolt hole, and a gold zinc finish. Internals include heat-treated side washers and a snap ring.
