The KYB Strut-Plus front assembly for Ford Explorer (2004–2005) restores ride height and handling using an OE-style strut paired with a high-carbon-steel coil spring. Designed by an original equipment supplier, the Strut-Plus manages vehicle weight and steering pivot duties to help maintain stability. Springs are developed considering corner weights to return OE ride height and handling characteristics.
