The KYB Excel-G rear shock for BMW 530xi (2006–2007) is an OE-calibrated replacement intended to restore original ride control and handling using a nitrogen gas‑charged twin-tube design. Made on KYB OE assembly lines with OE-quality components, the Excel-G aims to return factory characteristics. To reduce noise and vibration chances during replacement, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part SM5835).
