The KYB Excel-G rear shock restores original ride control and handling for various Volkswagen applications including CC (2009–2010), Golf (2010) and GTI (2006–2010), returning factory steering feel, stopping response and lane-change stability. Manufactured as a nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube unit on KYB OE assembly lines, the Excel-G uses OE-quality components and KYB recommends new strut mounts (SM5379) to help reduce noise and vibration when servicing these vehicles.
