The KYB Excel-G rear shock restores original ride control and handling for 2004–2008 Chevrolet Malibu and 2004–2007 Malibu Maxx applications, returning stability, braking response and steering feel to factory levels. Built on KYB OE assembly lines as a nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube unit, the Excel-G uses OE-quality components and robust construction. KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (SM5476) to help reduce noise and vibration where applicable.
