The KYB Excel-G rear shock restores the factory ride and handling characteristics for BMW Z Series models from 1996–2002. Manufactured on KYB OE lines, the Excel-G uses the same OE-quality components and a nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design calibrated to return original damping rather than change it. Strong strut bodies and brackets reduce flex to help maintain correct alignment and control.
