The KYB Excel-G front shock restores factory ride control for Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup (4WD, 2006–2008) applications. Manufactured on KYB OE assembly lines, Excel-G uses OE-quality components and a nitrogen gas‑charged twin‑tube design calibrated to return original stability, stopping and steering responsiveness rather than changing the feel. For quieter operation KYB recommends installing new strut mounts, part SM5531.
