The KYB Excel-G rear shock restores original ride control for Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer models (2002–2005). As an OE-equivalent aftermarket unit, Excel-G is made on KYB's OEM assembly lines and uses a nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design calibrated to return factory stability and handling. KYB also recommends replacing certain mounts during service to reduce noise and vibration risk.
