The KYB Excel-G front strut for Saab 9-5 series (1999–2001) restores the vehicle’s original ride control and handling characteristics. Made on KYB’s OE assembly lines with OE-quality components, the Excel-G is a nitrogen gas–charged twin-tube unit calibrated to return factory damping rather than alter it and carries an OEA classification for aftermarket use. It’s a common technician-preferred replacement; a KYB strut boot (SB101) is recommended to shield the strut from road debris.
