The KYB Excel-G rear shock for Subaru Impreza (AWD, 2004–2007) and WRX sedan (non-STI) restores factory ride control, stability and handling with OE-calibrated valving. Manufactured on KYB's OE assembly lines, the Excel-G is a nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design that uses OE-quality components and holds the OEA aftermarket classification. KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (SM5422) to reduce noise and vibration after replacement.
