The KYB Excel-G rear shock for Subaru Impreza (AWD, 2004–2007) and WRX wagon (not STI) returns factory ride control, stopping and handling through OE-matched valving. Produced on KYB's OE lines, the Excel-G is a nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design using OE-quality components and classified OEA. Protecting the strut with KYB Strut Boot SB102 is recommended where road contaminants threaten service life.
