The KYB Excel-G front strut for Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am (1982–1992) restores the vehicle’s original ride control, steering response and handling. Produced on KYB OE assembly lines and classified OEA, the nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design uses OE-quality components to return factory behavior. For noise and vibration reduction KYB recommends fitting new strut mounts (SM5027 & SM5028) during replacement.
