The UMI Performance rear lift bar set for 1978–1988 GM G-body provides a bolt-in trailing arm and bracket solution to lower the rear lower-arm pickup point, improving instant center and launch traction. Boxed trailing arms use offset sway bar holes to keep a level factory bar; CNC laser-cut bolt-on brackets fit 7.5 and GN 8.5 housings and offer three positions for instant-center tuning. Hardware and greaseable polyurethane bushings are included; drilling and possible welding are noted for some setups.
