UMI Performance's bolt-in rear lift bar set for 1978–1988 GM G-body relocates the rear lower arm pickup point to lower the instant center and improve forward traction for drag launches. The boxed trailing arm includes offset sway bar holes so the factory bar stays level at lowered settings. Jig-built bolt-on brackets fit factory 7.5 and GN 8.5 housings with three-position instant-center adjustment; hardware is included and installation takes about 2–3 hours.
