The BD Diesel PressureLoc Auto/PressureLoc for 2003–2005 Ford 6.0L PowerStroke commands torque converter lockup whenever the exhaust brake is applied in third and fourth gears, maximizing retarding power and limiting clutch slippage. By maintaining lock-up it helps keep transmission oil temperatures down. The module increases main line clutch apply pressure to prevent slippage, disengages at low speeds to protect the drivetrain, and reduces torque converter shuddering.
