The NGK direct-fit oxygen sensor for Ford Escape (2005–2010) replaces the OEM sensor and provides continuous closed-loop feedback to the engine control unit to help keep air-fuel ratio, fuel economy and emissions in check. Using refined ceramic sensor technology with a 3-stage contaminant-resistant plasma jet and deposit-trap overcoat, the sensing element resists contamination and aims to improve long-term reliability in OE applications.
