The NGK direct-fit oxygen sensor for Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2008–2013) supplies continuous closed-loop feedback to the engine control unit to help control air–fuel ratio, improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Using NTK ceramic sensor expertise, the unit includes a 3-stage contaminant-resistant plasma-jet and deposit-trap overcoat to protect the ceramic element from contamination and support OE-aligned application technology.
