The AEM EV Combined Charging Unit (CCU) integrates an onboard charger and DC-DC converter into a compact module to simplify EV drive systems. It delivers a 6.6kW onboard charger plus a 2.5kW DC-DC converter, high efficiency (HV charger ~93.5%, DCDC 91.5%), liquid cooling, and protection functions including over/under voltage and short-circuit protection. Controlled via CAN by the vehicle VCU, the CCU is compact, lightweight and designed for efficient, monitored charging and LV supply.
