The AEM BMS Master module for the VCU is the primary Battery Management System component that provides CAN communication and J1772 charging connections while measuring up to 18 cells and three thermistors per module. Masters connect to satellites via isoSPI for scalable packs, and the VCU handles BMS control logic. Weatherproof connectors and AEMCal support setup and calibration for varied battery configurations.
