The Omix tailgate check strap replaces the factory check on 2011–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models. It’s a direct replacement intended to restore normal tailgate operation using factory hardware; sold individually so two are required per vehicle. Note: it’s not recommended as a tailgate retention solution for larger wheel-and-tire combinations. Replaces OE 4589890AC.
