Garrett purple spring valve is a service replacement for GVW-40, GVW-45 and GVW-50 wastegates. Color-coded within the GVW lineup to represent its spring characteristic, it fits directly into the GVW series wastegate assembly. It is intended for users replacing worn or different-rate springs to restore the specified behavior of compatible Garrett wastegates without changing other components.
