The DEI Gen-3 Turbo Shield GT2252 is a purpose-built turbo shield that contains turbo heat and reduces radiant transfer to surrounding components. It helps manage underhood temperatures and can reduce perceived turbo lag. The shield uses a silica insulation layer, a fine stainless mesh barrier and a silicone-coated Onyx black outer shell, and ships with riveted anchors plus five feet of 22 gauge stainless steel wire.
