The Edelbrock Max-Fire Coil‑On‑Plug ignition coil is a direct bolt‑on replacement for 1997–2014 Ford 4.6L, 5.4L and 6.8L engines with 2‑valve heads, offering higher resistance for increased energy output at elevated rpm compared with typical OEM coils. The coil is sealed with high‑temperature epoxy for shock and vibration resistance, uses a stainless steel spark spring with a ferrite lug to reduce EMI/RFI, and features high‑temp silicone boots rated to 550°F.
