The aFe BladeRunner intercooler kit for 2011–2013 BMW 335i (E9X) with the N55 engine is a direct-fit bar-and-plate upgrade with a 5" core and 3/16" TIG-welded aluminum end tanks. It uses 2.5" inlet/outlet connections and includes 1/8" NPT ports for sensors or water-methanol. Tested gains reach up to +12 HP and +12 lb-ft and intake temps fall by about 12° without tuning.
