The aFe BladeRunner GT intercooler for GM diesel trucks (2006–2010 LBZ/LMM 6.6L) uses a massive 3"-thick bar-and-plate core and tag-welded aluminum end tanks with multi-directional vanes to optimize airflow through the entire core. Constructed with 3/16" TIG-welded end tanks, it includes four 1/8" NPT tapped ports and reinforced couplings. Tested to 200 psi, this design has shown notable temperature and EGT drops and increased airflow versus stock.
