The Mishimoto F8X Performance Intercooler Power Pack for 2015–2020 BMW F8X M3, M4 and M2 Competition upgrades the air-to-water system with a bar-and-plate core and single-pass coolant flow. Mishimoto increased core volume and flow (29% and 16% respectively) and measured a 12°F intake-air drop; the heat exchanger also helped lower coolant temps. The kit includes charge pipes, silicone couplers, and optional steel mesh stone guard.
