DEI Versa-Shield starter heat shield (7" x 24") is a universal, trim-to-fit wrap designed to protect starters from under-hood heat soak. Constructed from aluminized reflective material backed with hi-temp glass-fiber insulation, Versa-Shield reflects radiant heat up to 2000°F. The strip uses a hook-and-loop closure for installation and in most cases does not require starter removal.
