The Omix liftgate support strut is a direct-fit replacement for 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ hardtop liftgates. Sold individually but recommended to be replaced in pairs, the strut has a 13-inch tube length with an 11-inch extended shaft and includes pre-attached end clips for easier installation. It restores proper liftgate support, replaces OE 55029558, and carries a limited five-year warranty.
