This Omix steel tailgate is a direct-fit replacement engineered for 1950–1952 Willys M38 models. The tailgate measures 37" wide by 15" tall, with 0.75" thickness at the central body and a 1" thick upper lip; it includes backside reinforcement for spare tire mounting. Use part 12023.16 for the carrier and 12023.22 for hinges (two required). Replaces OE 663188-38 and carries a limited five-year warranty.
