The OMIX Liftgate Latch is an OE-style replacement for hardtop lift gates on 1976–1986 CJ7 and 1981–1986 CJ8 Scrambler models with factory hardtops. Sold individually and including the internal return spring, this latch fits left or right side and replaces OE 8128164. Two are required per vehicle; the latch restores proper hardtop liftgate function and carries a limited five-year warranty.
