The BD Diesel exhaust brake for 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L PowerStroke (4in) is a remote-mount vacuum-actuated retarder designed to reduce service brake wear when towing. Engineered with cast-iron housings, AlumiBronze bushings and a stainless butterfly shaft, the brake provides regulated back-pressure across the engine's RPM range. Kits come with the brake valve, spool valve and hardware for in-line or turbo-mount installation.
