The BD Diesel exhaust brake for 2003–2007 Ford 6.0L PowerStroke (automatic transmission) is a variable back‑pressure retarding system that mounts turbo‑side or inline and includes valve, control and wiring components. Automatic trucks prior to 2006 may require BD's programmable AutoLoc and PressureLoc kits to manage torque converter engagement.
