Skunk2 Alpha Series valves for Honda K20/K24 VTEC engines are precision one-piece forgings, with a +1mm intake valve for higher-lift applications. Intake valves use HNV-3 martensitic steel and exhaust valves use EV8 austenitic steel; each is proprietary heat-treated and hard chrome-plated to boost strength, reduce friction and resist corrosion. Special valve head profiles optimize airflow, and the set is several grams lighter than stock components.
