The COMP Cams Sportsman stainless steel LS1 intake valve is specified at 2.055" diameter with a 4.900" length and a .170" tip for LS1 applications. Forged from 21-4N high-strength steel and fitted with 50 HRc hardened tips, these valves eliminate the need for lash caps and use hard chrome-plated stems with oil-retention surfacing. Swirl-polished fillets and high-flow underhead relief improve flow and resistance to radial crack propagation across common lifter types.
