The COMP Cams Sportsman stainless steel LS1 intake valve is specified at 2.02" diameter with a 4.900" overall length and a .170" tip. Forged from 21-4N high-strength steel with 50 HRc hardened tips, these valves eliminate the need for lash caps and use chrome-plated stems with proprietary oil-retention surfacing. High-flow underhead fillet relief and swirl-polished fillets enhance airflow and resistance to radial crack propagation for hydraulic, mechanical and roller lifter valve trains.
