The COMP Cams Sportsman stainless steel intake valve for BBC applications features a 2.300" head diameter and 11/32" stem, offered with .250" added length. These valves are forged from 21-4N high-strength steel and use 50 HRc hardened tips that eliminate lash caps, plus hard chrome-plated stems with oil-retention surfacing. High-flow underhead fillet relief and swirl-polished fillets enhance flow and resistance to radial cracking for hydraulic, mechanical and roller lifter valve trains.
