This COMP Cams precision machined chromemoly retainer is black-oxide finished and specified for 3/8" valve stems with 1.437"–1.500" outer diameter valve springs. The 7° profile is tailored for 3/8" valve engines and is compatible with COMP springs such as the 984, 990, 972, 901, 988 and 950 series. It provides accurately machined seating and pairs with matching locks for secure retention.
