The COMP Cams steel retainer is CNC-machined from SAE 4140 chromemoly steel and finished in black oxide for use with 26925 dual valve springs. CAD/CAM with FEA produced a contoured top profile to lower stress and reduce mass while maintaining strength. These 7° retainers are intended for 11/32" valve engines using 26925 springs and suit 1.320" valve stem sizes.
