COMP Cams ID spring locator is a hardened steel seat with an inboard locating shoulder that centers and retains valve springs while protecting the head and shim under high RPM and spring pressures. The 4786 has a 1.635" OD and .570" ID and fits dual spring 959 and triple springs such as 947, 948, 26082 and 26028, providing compact seating that reduces needed head machining.
