The COMP Cams ID locator spring seat offers a hardened steel alloy seat that protects the cylinder head and shim while locating and retaining valve springs under high RPM and heavy spring pressures. This inboard locating design reduces the machining older cup-style seats required. The 4777 variant measures 1.540" OD with a .640" ID and suits dual springs such as COMP 26089, 955 and 943.
