The COMP Cams ID locator spring seat provides a thin, hardened steel alloy seat that protects the head and shim while centering and holding the valve spring under high-RPM, high-pressure conditions. This inboard locating design avoids heavy head machining. The 4775 fits applications where a 1.540" outer diameter and .640" inner diameter pair well with dual springs such as 996, 998, 26099 and 991.
