The COMP Cams inboard ID spring seat is a hardened steel locator designed to protect the head and center valve springs in high-RPM, high-pressure applications. The 4775 lists a 1.540" OD and .640" ID and is compatible with COMP Cams dual spring setups such as 996, 998, 26099 and 991, reducing head machining and providing secure spring placement for demanding engines.
