COMP Cams ID spring locators provide a thin, hardened steel seat to protect the head and shim while centering the valve spring. This kit lists a 1.500" OD, .585" ID and .060" thickness and is supplied as a set of 12 for multiple valve installations. The locators replace older shims that may not withstand high RPM or extreme spring pressures in race engines.
