The COMP Cams inboard ID spring seat locator centers and retains valve springs with a hardened steel construction to resist high RPM and extreme pressures. The 4770 features a 1.500" OD and .585" ID and is intended for use with COMP Cams dual springs such as 985, 978, 924 and 939. Its locating shoulder sits inside the seat for reduced head machining and secure spring placement.
