The COMP Cams hardened steel inboard-locating spring seat protects the head and shim while centering and holding the valve spring in place. With a 1.550" outside diameter and .570" inside diameter, this locator uses an internal shoulder to locate the seat without extensive head machining and works well with COMP dual valve springs to maintain spring position under high pressures and RPM.
