The COMP Cams 0.030" valve spring shims with a 1.480" outside diameter and 0.765" inside diameter are intended to equalize installed spring heights for improved valvetrain consistency. Heat-treated and made from premium shim stock to resist aggressive cam lobe wear, they help maintain consistent spring seat height across valves. Kits are available to cover complete cylinder banks as needed.
