COMP Cams hardened spring seat cups are engineered to handle the higher spring pressures and RPM common in modern race engines. These thin steel alloy locators protect the head and shim while holding and locating the spring with an internal shoulder. The 4702 model features a 1.730" OD and .640" ID and works with a range of COMP valve springs to deliver consistent seating and improved valvetrain reliability.
